If you have been around internet marketing for any length of time, I’m sure you have heard of “site flipping”. This is where someone builds a site around a particular keyword phrase and then flips the site to someone else for quick money. However, there is a unique new twist to this business model that couples site flipping with physical books.
The basic premise of book flipping is using the self publishing platform. You create a physical book using a self publishing platform and then associate that book with a website that you create. Then, you can sell the website and the rights (and future sales) of the physical book. This creates a “business in a box” which can be sold to end buyers.
Book Flips as a concept was created by Tony Newton, a marketer and site flipper from the United Kingdom, in early 2010. He put the original course up for sale on the Warrior Forum and it was an overwhelming success.
He then listed the site and the course as a business for sale on Flippa.com (effectively flipping the actual flipping course.)
I was an original customer of the course and knew both the value and potential that it held, so I jumped at the opportunity to take this project and make it my own.
And so, the Miller era of Book Flips emerged.
